Yahoo! Search is the most popular search engine in Hong Kong, reveals global market research agency Synovate. In a study that sought to measure the brand awareness and usage of the different search engines, Synovate conducted telephone interviews with male and female respondents between the ages of 15 and 64 in September 2006. A similar study was also conducted in February earlier that year.

According to the survey, a huge 83 per cent of respondents agree that Yahoo! Search is the search engine they use the most often. It also remains the brand with the strongest awareness, at 78 per cent.
